The Group acquired Britannia, a manufacturer of commercial kitchen ventilation canopies since 1995, in November 2002. The Company moved in January 2008 from its old facilities in Southam, Warwickshire, to larger premises in nearby Leamington Spa. The three founders of the company continue to manage the business.

Britannia’s product range has expanded considerably in recent years. Originally a manufacturer solely of bespoke canopies, Britannia now offers modular canopies in standard styles and sizes, systems with secondary filtration using ultra-violet technology, a range of recirculation systems and ventilated ceilings, including the Heydal brand that was acquired in March 2007. All product development and manufacturing is carried out by the company, which also installs its own products.

Britannia’s customer base encompasses both the public and private sector, including schools, hospitals, staff canteens, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and temporary kitchens.
