A business founded by the Group, Mercury was launched in January 2000 as a high-end manufacturer of domestic range cookers. At the time most products on offer were of a traditional look, whereas Mercury’s concept, the RC1090, was a strikingly modern design with many innovative features.

Mercury’s products are manufactured by Lincat, which also provides support services such as purchasing and accounting, whilst Mercury retains full control of product development, marketing, sales and after-sales support. Mercury’s facilities include an extensive working kitchen for dealer training and customer events.

In addition to the RC1090, Mercury produces a small range of premium built-in appliances and in 2006 launched Thermastone, a radical re-interpretation of the traditional heat-store cooker.
